Delectable Yoruba actress, Kemi Afolabi has been named as Ambassador for this year’s celebration of Ikorodu Oga Day.
According to the newly elected Chairman of the Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Otunba Ganiu Olusegun Abiru, this is the first time in the history of the event that an Ambassador will be unveiled for its celebration.
Otunba Abiru stated that the Ambassador is expected to project the image of the Association, publicise its activities and used her influence and contacts to generate funds for the Association.
“As a popular actress, she is also expected to play formidable roles in our various youth programmes as well as be a good role model for our youths who want to take acting as a career,” the IKODASS Chairman said.
Afolabi will be formally unveiled as the Ambassador of Ikorodu Oga Day on Tuesday, 5 September, 2017.
