The All Progressive Congress (APC), Germany Chapter paid a courtesy visit to Nigerian Ambassador to Germany, Alhaji Yusuf Maitama Tuggar.
The delegate of APC members led by the chapter’s Chairman Hon. Olalekan Ogunwede used the opportunity of the visit to congratulate the Ambassador on his appointment and assured him of the party’s readiness to support him in the discharge of his duties in order to have a successful tenure.
Hon. Ogunwede also use the occasion to highlight some of the laudable projects that is being proposed by the chapter in Nigeria and some that has already been executed.
He explained how 20 youths were sponsored in Osun State on vocational training during the Osun State Youth Empowerment Scheme (OYES) and this was also buttressed by Com. Temitope Olaniyan that one of the delegates that was also instrumental in the project in Nigeria.
Speaking afterwards, Ambassador Tuggar stress the need for organisations in diaspora to align with the visions and plans of the Government in order to create prosperous nation.
He enjoins diasporans willing to do business in Nigeria to take the bold step. Adding that the present administration led by President Muhammad Buhari is already actualizing his campaign promise of reducing corruption and also about the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) which is aimed at creating friendly business environment for existing and prospective businesses.
He lends his voice to other issues affecting Nigerian in Germany as raised by some members of the delegate and what his administration at the embassy is doing to instill the needed “Change”.
He implores all Nigerian living in Germany to not only see the need to carry the flaws of the administration but should also see it as a responsibility to magnify the wave of good change that is been witnessed at the Nigerian Embassy.
