Muyiwa, the son of late sage, Chief Bola IGE has congratulated the Osun 7th Assembly on the successful inauguration and the rancor free emergence of the leadership.

Arc. Ige in his congratulatory message urged the newly inaugurated Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon Timothy Owoeye to work efficiently with the present State Government of Osun so as to advance a robust legislative agenda that will enhance strategic growth and economic sustainability in the State.

According to the Chairman, Leaders Forum, Obokun East LCDA, Parliament is one the key institutions in democratic governance with a noble task of developing and implementing peoples driven laws, policies and practices that will ensure the entrenchment of good governance.

While stressing that the diligence and dedication of the lawmakers is essential for the government to accomplish the desired aspirations, he affirmed his confidence in the brilliance, exposure and the wealth of experience of the leadership which according to him would certainly propel the State to the next level.

" You are the democratically elected representatives of the good people of Osun across the 26 State Constituencies and the honourable task to ensuring a government by the people and for the people has been bestowed on your honours.

"And I am confident beyond reasonable doubt that the exposure and wealth of experience of the leadership would take our great State, Osun to a desired destination", Ige noted.

While praying a sound mental and physical strength required to fulfil their mandate in the service of the people, Ige who was former Commissioner for Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development in the State of Osun lauded the immediate past State Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon Dr Najeem Salam for adequately subscribing to the democratic ideals and values throughout lifespan of their tenure.
