Lagos CP Set To Commission SCID’s 300-seater Lecture Theatre

The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu is set to commission a 300-seater lecture theater with office spaces for officers at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba.

The Gazelle News.com learnt that the office complex was an initiative of the SCID and is meant to solve accommodation for officers serving in the Department as well as ease their duty.

This medium leaner that the SCID had recently completed the lecture theatre and office complex project which started from the scratch in July 2019 mainly for the purpose of training and retraining of police personnel

The Gazelle News.com learnt further that the commissioning of building has been fixed tentatively for Thursday, 30 January 2019 by the Lagos state Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu.

Sources told The Gazelle News.com that the project was made possible by donations from individuals and corporate organisations as part of their civic social responsibility

The lecture theatre boasts of projectors for lectures and presentations, air conditioners, standby generator for constant supply of power, office spaces for officers, modern toilets for convenience.

Recall that around July 2019, the SCID commissioned an ultramodern statement taking and interview room under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police and Officer-in-Charge of the SCID, DCP Yetunde Longe
