The African People’s Congressn,APC, has concluded arrangement to challenge the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to register it as a political party in court.
At a news conference in Abuja, the association said no amount of gang up, offer for settlement and plots by INEC and merger group will stop APC from participating in the 2015 general actions.
The acting National Chairman of the APC, Chief Onyinye Ikeagwuonu, warned INEC not to register any other party with the names and acronym of APC until the case is finally resolved by the court of law.
He described the stand of the APC on the registration controversy as a battle to save the nation’s democracy and the constitution vowing that the APC will resist any attempt to ambush the democracy by those he called merger group.
