Rivers, Bauchi, Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Ondo, Benue, Plateau, Gombe, Jigawa and Kano states.

The main objective of the project is to enhance the capacity of the states to provide economically viable water supply through institutional strengthening and optional involvement of private partners in the urban water supply.

The project will also fast track a strategic approach in the transformation of the water way supply services and make water available in some defined sections of Ado and the university town of Iworoko.

The National Urban Water 3 will also reduce incidences of water borne diseases among the people and transform the state’s Water Corporation into an efficient, customer oriented, independent and well managed organisation.
