Group Hails Aregbesola On Developmental Projects, Endorses Gov For Second Term

A group, Omoluabi Progressives Association (O- PA) has hailed the Governor, State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on the massive developmental projects going on across all sectors in the state.

O- PA, an umbrella body for personal assistants of political office holders in the state and young professionals also declared its support for the Governor’s second term bid.

The group, in a statement signed by its coordinator, Lekan Odediran, stated that it identifies with the vision, innovative and impressive leadership style of the Governor which has brought an unprecedented development and investment attention to the State.

O-PA also commended Aregbesola  on the intervention at the senior  secondary level with the introduction of Opon Imo (Tablet of Knowledge) which makes education goes digital in Osun.

The group therefore applauded the Governor and his visionary team for preparing the youths in the state of Osun to be able to stand shoulder high among their colleagues worldwide.

“Ogbeni has again placed Osun on the world map through his wisdom, financial re-engineering skills and creativity. As a visionary leader,  Mr Governor, within 30 months in office  has transformed the state to a better place  to be in spite of the meager resources accruing to the state monthly from the federation account.

“Osun has indisputably become a pace setter in almost all sectors, such as provision of 150,000 computer tablets to students, employment of 40,000 youths under O’ YES scheme, successful hosting of Oodua Children’s Day, feeding of 240,000 pupils with highly nutritious meals daily, free school uniforms for students of public among others.

“The Governor’s passion for the renew Osun, the outstanding and unimaginable massive works he has done are all there for all and sundry to see. With these, we therefore declare our solidarity for the administration and 100 percent commitment to his second term bid,” the group declared.

While congratulating Mr Governor on his 56th birthday, the group urged the people of Osun to join hands with Aregbesola to make the State of Osun a better place to live.
