The mobilisation train of the newly registered All Progressive Congress (aPC) berthed in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Wednesday as the leadership of the party met with the Governor of the state, Abdul Fattah Ahmed, and other leaders of the new Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) in his office for about an hour in his office.
The APC leaders: General Muhammad Buhari, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Adebisi Akande, Alhaji Lai Muhammad and others met with the governor and his people in his office in Ilorin.
Thegazellenews.com learnt exclusively that the APC entourage arrived Ilorin Airport in two chartered flights and they left about one and half hours later in the same flights that brought them.
They were seen off at the airport by aides of the Kwara State Governor at about 1.50pm.
Thegazellenews.com also learnt exclusively that the leader of the nPDP in the state, Senator Bukola Saraki, was aware of the coming of the APC leaders and he allegedly approved the meeting.
