According to poll pundits, Ayo Fayose of the Peoples Democratic Party won the 21 June Ekiti election because he was a man of the people; a populist who panders to the wishes of the people.
He rides on bikes, he drinks the local wine with them, plays ‘ayo’, and so on with them.
Pundits claimed he was not aloof like Kayode Fayemi, the man he defeated.
In nearby Osun State, Iyiola Omisore, a senator, who also wants to sweep away the APC governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has been copying some of Fayose’s acts, like riding on bikes.
Over to you Osun state voters: the verdict is yours whether Omisore is real on is merely embarked on electioneering tricks or gimmicry?
