It would serve as the biggest shock of the just concluded primaries to pick candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for state Assembly election in Lagos State.
The Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Dr Ajibayo Adeyeye lost the party’s ticket on Wednesday, 3rd December, 2014.
Adeyeye is currently representing Kosofe Constituency 2 in the state Assembly and is the Majority Leader of the Assembly.
In the keenly contested primaries which took place on Wednesday, 3rd December, 2014, Adeyeye was well beaten by the former Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Chief Taofeek Olatunde Buraimo.
The primary election for the constituency took place on Wednesday, 3rd December, 2014 after the first exercise on Tuesday, 2nd December, 2014 was called off.
