The Executive Secretary of Igando/ Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon Wale Azeez has paid courtesy visits to traditional rulers in the council area.
According to him, the visits were aimed at not only paying homage to the monarchs but also to intimate them on the plans of his administration to develop the LCDA as well as seek support and cooperation of the traditional rulers.
“We also visited our fathers to talk to them on the need to impress it on our people to collect their permanent voters’ cards (PVCs) to ensure that they come out and vote massively during the approaching general election,” the council boss said.
Azeez showered appreciation on the traditional rulers for their roles in ensuring that peace reign in the various communities and state at large.
The Igando-Ikotun LCDA boss urged residents of the council who have not collect their PVCs to do so and ensure that they cast their votes for all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which is the party that will turn their lives around for the better.
“Our people who have not collected their PVCs to come over to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the council to collect them and ensure that you vote for all APC candidates in the coming general election,” the council boss said.
The council boss and his team were at the palaces of Onigando of igando, Oba Lasisi Gbadamosi; Onikotun of ikotun, Oba Gbadabiu Asiwaju; Onijegun of Ijegun, Oba Alani Akinremi; and High Chief Tajudeen Fagbohun, Oloja of Akesan land.
