Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola has said he would constitute his full cabinet in January next year.
Governor Aregbesola disclosed this on Sunday, 20th December, 2015 while speaking in Osogbo at a reception organised in honour of the Minister of Health, Professor Adewole, by the state government.
Justifying the delay in the appointment of commissioners a year after he got the mandate of the Osun to govern the state for a second term, Aregbesola blamed the paucity of funds in the state.
The Governor said working without accredited cabinet members had assisted in cutting cost debunking the insinuations in some quarters that those serving under him in his first tenure have been appointed as consultants and are being paid by Government.
While noting that Government would never jeopardize the interest of the state, Mr Aregbesola noted that all the past commissioners that have been helping him in the last one year were doing it freely in the interest of the state.
The state helmsman said with the steps being taken by his administration, problem of shortage of funds would be reduced next year.
He therefore urged youths in the state to embrace opportunity provided by the state government in the area of farming.
Aregbesola assured the people of the state of the commitment of Professor Adewole who hails from the state to promote health care services in Osun state.
