Happening Now : Students Storm House Of Assembly, Protest Against Jamb Registrar

Students from various centers in Lagos where the 2016 UTME is been written today, Tuesday, 15th of March, 2016 stormed the Lagos State House of Assembly to protest against the Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Prof. Dibu Ojerinde.

Some of the complaints levied against the Registrar is that JAMB has been giving low marks, adding and deducting candidates scores at their own discretion, 40 was added to the marks  of every  students that sat for the exams the first week while 100 marks were deducted from those that did theirs the following week.

It was also revealed that some of the candidates even received results before writing the exams.

One of the students, Mariam Mumuni during  interview said the JAMB website kept tripping off and giving an inscription like ‘Administrative Log Out’ among others.

Some of the candidates also alleged their venues for the exams were changed without proper notifications while others complained of legitimate scores not given them.
