The Executives of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) and the Patriotic Christian Leaders Forum(PCLF), Amuwo Odofin Local Government chapter paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Local Government, Comrade Valentine Buraimoh at the Local Government secretariat, Festac Town, Lagos.
The essence of the visit, according to the visitors, was to congratulate the Local Government boss on his election victory, as well as give his administration support towards achieving his desired objectives in taking Amuwo Odofin LGA to an amiable height.
The President of CAN, Overseer Aluko noted that “the local government for the past two years have not witnessed the dividends of democracy and now that we have a young and vibrant Chairman, it is our believe that our environment will be safe and clean again, our roads will be motorable and educational sector will be given a facelift. He added that the government should also focus on women and youth empowerment.
The CAN President appealed for a bus, land for office and a Jerusalem slot.
Also, the PCLF decorated the Council helsman as a full member of the Christian forum. The President, Evangelist Raphael Egunjobi averred that the body will give the government maximum support in terms of revenue generation.
Responding, Comrade Buraimoh thanked them for their unflinching support before, during and after the election, noting that he will not let them down.
