#COVID19: Gospel Singer Advises Youths On Measures To Contain Virus

Nigerian gospel singer and Vivid View T V  host , Elizabeth Ngozi Ehigiamusoe popularly  called Ehiliz (AFP) has admonished youths to stay safe from the CoronaVirus pandemic by constantly upholding preventive  measures against the virus.  According to her, “As authorities pragmatically scale up measures aimed at safeguarding the lives of Nigerians and engage in sensitization programmes, I implore every youth as well as all Nigerians to abide by the preventive measures and guidelines recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) against the pandemic: washing hands frequently with soap, maintain social distancing, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth, practicing respiratory hygiene among others. I understand the pains and hardship they are going through this period, especially during the stay-at-home order”.

In the same vein, she prayed for God’s intervention through her song ‘Heal Our Land’,  “The song, featuring Mike Abdul and Monique is seeking  God’s healing upon the land and restore peace, love and unity, she added

Ehiliz , who is a grand mother and  a patriotic Nigerian with multiple awards to her credit,  appreciated the roles of the Lagos State government as well as well the  National Centre For Disease Control (NCDC).

“I appreciate the concerted efforts by Lagos State, NCDC and JTF for the containment of the virus.  I also use this opportunity to thank the medical personnel whose lives are also at risk. May God continue to strengthen and protect you and your families,” she said.
