The management of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has informed the staff of the agency that from May, they won’t be paid full salary, The Gazelle News.com reports.
This was contained in a memo to all the staff dated Tuesday, 19 May, 2020 signed by M.D. Musa, General Manager, Administration of the agency.
The memo, in possession of The Gazelle News.com, stated that the decision was taken due to the dwindling revenue of the agency.
The memo assured the staff that the balance of their salaries would be paid as soon as the finances of the agency improves.
“This measure is taken to ensure the survival of the organisation,” the memo said.
