Twenty two coronavirus patients were discharged in Lagos on Saturday, 2 May, 2020, The Gazelle News.com can report.
They were discharged having tested negative twice to the virus infection, an indication that they have attained full recovery from the virus infection.
The state Governor and Incident Commander, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stated this on Saturday, 2 May, 2020 on his official twitter handle.
The Governor stated further that those discharged were eight females and 14 males.
Of the lot, The Gazelle News.com gathered, 19 were discharged from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH); two from the Infectious Disease Centre, Yaba; and one from the Lekki Isolation Centre.
The number of patients who have attained full recovery from the virus infection Lagos has now risen to 247.

Good people of Lagos,
Today, 22 more persons; 8 females and 14 males, all Nigerians were discharged from our Isolation facilities at Yaba, LUTH & Lekki to reunite with the society.
The patients, 19 from Lagos University teaching Hospital, 2 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 1 from our Isolation facility at Lekki were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.
This brings to 247 the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.
