Lagos is reeling from the Coronavirus Infection with 256 new cases reported on Wednesday, 27 May, 2020, the highest number for a single day since the pandemic hits Nigeria, reports The Gazelle News.com.
Also, Kogi is the newest state to report index Coronavirus cases as two cases are reported in the state. This leaves Cross River as the last man standing: the only state without confirmed Covid-19 case.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported on its official tweeter handle on Wednesday that 389 new cases were reported for the day with Lagos accounting for 256 of this number.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Lagos has now risen to 4012 while the number rises to 8733 nationwide.
