The National President, Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycles Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Prince Adebayo Samsudeen Apelogun has condoled with the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi of demise of his brother, Charles (Dede) Amaechi.
In his condolence message, Apelogun said it was very difficult to believe, very shocking and saddening that such a wonderful, intelligent and charismatic man left the sinful world at the time most people needs his wisdom, knowledge and wealth of his experience to tap.
“I am particularly in pain that he left at a time when in your bid to transform our transportation network into a modern and ensuring system, you are in dire need of his wealth of experience which is crucial in the successes you recorded as the fifth governor of Rivers State.
He added that Dede was a typical example of how to be humble in victory, despite the enormous God’s blessings on his family under his watch, noting that he remained unassuming, accommodating, cheerful, philanthropic and kind-hearted.
Apelogun said there was no amount of condolence that would be enough to soothe someone that lost a dear family member, urging him to take solace in the fact that he leave a good life while on Earth, saying that no leaf would ever fall of a tree without the knowledge of the all-knowing God.
He added that if indeed, “the voice of Man is the voice of God”, then on the basis of the loads of testimonies about his enviable personality, we can conclude that Dede, the gentleman, is already in the midst of the saints”.
He then prayed to God to grant his family and the entire Ubima, Ikwerre Local Government area of Rivers State the fortitude to bear the very painful loss, noting that the entire ACOMORAN valued the inestimable support he (Amaechi) accorded them over the years, so on this moment of grief, they all walked the path with him.
