More than 20,000 people have contacted the deadly coronavirus in Nigeria, reports The Gazelle News.com.
This was revealed in the latest update by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its official Twitter handle on Sunday, 21 June, 2020.
The Gazelle News.com reports further that 436 new cases were reported on Sunday bringing the total in Nigeria to 20,244 confirmed cases in the country. Out of this total, 6,879 recovered patients have been discharged and there have 518 fatalities.
In the latest update, Lagos has 169 new cases, Oyo has 52, Plateau 31, Imo 29, Kaduna 28, Ogun 23 and FCT 18.
