Nigeria recorded a total of 17 deaths from coronavirus infection on Wednesday, 10 June, 2020 reports The Gazelle News.com.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its twitter handle also reported 409 new cases of the infection nationwide on the same day.
The Gazelle News.com reports further that the death toll from the virus infection has risen to 382 throughout the country.
In the figure release on Wednesday, Lagos led with nine deaths, three people died from Delta, and one each from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Rivers, Bauchi, Gombe and Ondo states.
In the same vein, the number of Covid-19 infection in Nigeria has risen to 13,873 with the new 409 cases reported on Wednesday.
Lagos remains the epicentre, reporting 201 new cases on Wednesday and having a total of 6266 confirmed cases on the day, followed by FCT which reported 85 new cases and 1097 overall and Kano which reported only five cases on Wednesday but have 1025 cases overall.
