The attorney-general of Ekiti state, Wale Fapohunda, has contacted the coronavirus.
Fapohunda disclosed this via a post on his Twitter handle saying that he has tested positive for the virus.
He disclosed that he has taken precautionary measures by going into self-isolation and the solicitor-general will be in charge of issues in his absence.
“The result of my second covid-19 test came out positive today. In line with the established protocols, I have commenced a period of self-isolation. In my absence, all state legal matters should be referred to the Solicitor-General of the State,” the post read.
Gazelle .com reports that the governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, is also on self-isolation after contacting the virus.
