Former Chairman of Agege Local Government, Chief Enoch Kolapomoye Ajiboso has expressed shock and sadness at the death of the Honourable Tunde Braimoh, The Gazelle News.com reports.
The former Commissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives in Lagos State said he had not come to terms with the news of the death of the man who served as Chairman of Kosofe Local Government during their days as council chairmen in the state.
“He was a resourceful man. Full of ideas, very humble and humane. I’ve never seen Braimoh to keep malice with anybody,” Ajiboso said.
According to him, Braimoh was the secretary while he (Ajiboso) served as the Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON). “He was the Secretary of ALGON while I was the Chairman and the late Senator Muniru Adekunle Muse, then Chairman of Apapa Local Government was the Treasurer. Together with the executive and other members of the Exco, we made the Lagos ALGON, the most vibrant in the federation,” Ajiboso said.
He described his death as a huge loss not only to his family and associates, but also to the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Lagos State House of Assembly, Lagos State and Nigeria in general.
