A six-tyre truck loaded with sand plunged into the Epe River on Friday, 25 September, 2020, reports The Gazelle News.com.
According to reports, the incident took place on Berger Bridge in Epe and it took place late Friday night.
As at the time of writing this report, the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) have concluded rescue efforts and have confirmed that two people died in the incident.
The Gazelle News.com reports that two male bodies have been recovered from the river and their bodies deposited at the mortuary.
