Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Olamide Adedeji has said ‘a better Nigeria’ at this time is more important than publicising his latest album ‘Carpe Diem’.
The award-winning singer was responding to a fan on twitter, who noted protests against police brutality had overshadowed the album release. In his response, Olamide said ‘a better Nigeria over anything’.
Olamide has joined numerous celebrities to lend a voice to the #ENDSARS protest. Carpe Diem, a 12-track album featuring Omah Lay, Fireboy DML, Peruzzi, Phyno, among others, is Olamide’s 11th studio album. The MTVBase-award winner released the album on October 8.
