It was a great joy and sigh of relief for some patients of the Ajeromi Ifelodun General Hospital whose treatments were stalled due to lack of funds on Friday, 13 November, 2020. Mallam AbdoulBaq Ladi Balogun who visited the Lagos State health facility put smiles on the faces of those who the hospital had halted their treatments over unpaid bills.
He paid their outstanding bills irrespective of their religion and political affiliation. Neonates of 2, 5 and 6 months old whose parents could not fund their medical bills were not exempted from his philanthropic gesture.
The beneficiaries sincerely commended the kind gesture of the Humble Mallam and prayed for the man who brought back smiles to their respective faces as some had initially lost hope and only looking up to divine favour which the Almighty God made possible through him.
Hon. Ladi who has a proclivity for touching his people’s lives positively admonished the recovered, healthy and discharged patients to continue to support the programmes and policies of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and ensure prompt registration with LASRRA.
He took another step forward under The Alalubarika Lift Up Initiative paid morale boosting visit to the in-patients and also help the helpless. The symbol, Alalubarika, also prayed for the quick recovery and divine healing of these patients and wished them well.
