The Lagos State Government has directed all civil servants to resume work on Monday, 2 November, 2020 reports The Gazelle News.com.
Recall that civil servants on grade level 1-12 have been working from home since April in the wake of the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic in the state.
At about July, senior civil servants from grade level 13 were asked to resume work albeit in staggered circumstances.
The state Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola in a circular dated Friday, 30 October, 2020 addressed to all heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) stated that the state is acting on the clearance from the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 as well as the state Ministry of Health which gave approval for workers to resume fully.
The circular however stated that all MDAs must comply with laid protocols for protection against Covid-19.
