These are certainly a trying period for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Lagos East Senatorial District bye-election, Babatunde Gbadamosi.
And his worries are far from how to win the Saturday, 5 December, 2020 Bye-election. His major worries are how to answer serious questions on his academic qualifications.
Serious questions but which he MUST answer.
Gbadamosi is seriously battling to prove to the whole world that he’s not parading a forged WAEC certificate.
He must explain to the whole world, particularly the Federal High Court in Ikoyi and the people of Lagos East Senatorial District he seeks to represent in the Upper Legislative Chamber, why the WAEC certificate he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is different from the one on the website of the examination body.
Oga Gbadamosi needs to explain why there was a sharp difference in the number of subjects he sat for in his WAEC certificate and the one on the website of the examination body.
In his certificate, it was revealed that he sat for five subjects while in the website of WAEC, he sat for eight subjects.
Yet another poser for Gbadamosi is his claim of attending the Lagos State University (LASU).
With his WAEC certificate showing he had four credits and one pass which is a far cry from the institution’s minimum entry requirement of credit pass in five subjects, there is need for Oga Gbadamosi to explain how he got admission into LASU.
The Federal High Court in Ikoyi and the people of Lagos East Senatorial District are waiting for the answers.
