Confusion As APC Debunks Postponement Of Membership Registration Exercise

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked reports that it has postponed the party membership registration and validation exercise.
Earlier report by The Gazelle News.com from the Nation online has indicated that the notice of postponing the exercise was given via a purported statement by the Secretary of the party’s National Caretaker Committee, Senator John Akpan Udoedeghe.
However, a counter statement debunking the statement was issued by the same Udoedeghe.
It described the previous statement as fake and highly mischievous.
Below is the statement debunking the postponement from Udoedeghe:
*DISCLAIMER: APC Membership Exercise On Course, Commences As Scheduled*
A “NOTICE” in circulation and ascribed to the APC CECPC National Secretary, Sen. John J. Akpan Udoedeghe Ph.D. is fake and highly mischievous.
The APC membership registration, revalidation and update exercise remains on course and commences as scheduled in the attached timetable.
As earlier announced, the CECPC has approved the constitution of State Membership Registration Committees for the Party’s nationwide membership registration, revalidation and update exercise. This will be followed by a train-the-trainer workshop.
SIGNED:
*Sen. John J. Akpan Udoedeghe Ph.D.*
