AN ex-Arsenal footballer had sex with a 14-year-old girl, joked about “feeling like a paedo” and posted a naked “trophy” picture on Snapchat.
Tyrell Robinson, 23, groomed three 14-year-old schoolgirls and plied the trio with vodka before having sex with one.
Robinson had invited the schoolgirls to his Bradford flat for sex.
The winger also took a photograph of his flatmate Korrie Berman, 22, having sex with the other two teenage victims, a court heard.
Robinson, who started his career with Arsenal, had pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a child.
He also admitted making an indecent image of a child and distributing an indecent image of a youngster.
PAEDOPHILE JOKES
Prosecutor Miss Batts said Berman had researched ‘under age sex’ and both men knew the girls were only 14.
The two men also joked on Snapchat about being paedophiles.
Berman messaged Robinson, saying: “Bro, I feel like a paedo”.
Robinson posted tongues and images of police cars and police officers on the photograph he took of Berman in bed with the two naked victims before sending it to him by Snapchat.
A judge at Bradford Crown Court said he sent it as a ‘trophy’ about the underage sex.
Robinson was jailed for three and a half years today with Berman jailed for six years after he admitted five charges of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 14 in 2018.
Judge Richard Mansell, QC, sentencing, told Robinson: “The harm you have caused to the three young girls and their families is considerable.
“It is perfectly clear that you were sexually attracted to one of more of these girls.”
Robinson had befriended one of the victims at a public event the club had expressly warned him not to attend and he began to message her despite knowing she was only 14.
One message read: “I think you are stunning but your age is a killer.”

In March 2018, Robinson attended an event where the three teenage girls were present “not withstanding he was told, in no uncertain terms, not to do so,” said Miss Batts.
One of the girls told him then that she was only 14, but he continued to message her with flirtatious texts and ask to meet up.
Berman groomed another of the girls and invited her back to the flat, in July.
Robinson and Berman messaged each other about their contact with the girls on Snapchat.
On August 13, all three came to Robinson’s city centre flat.
PLIED WITH BOOZE
They had been drinking Vodka and two of them were ‘absolutely gone’ before they arrived.
In the flat they were plied with more shots and Berman took two of the girls into the spare bedroom whilst Robinson took the third into his bedroom.
The court heard one of the girls was sick in the flat and has to eventually be taken to hospital.
Robinson only stopped having sex with the teenager when her mum phoned her mobile.
Afterwards Robinson messaged the girl: “Promise me you won’t say anything.”
“I don’t understand how come you look so pretty when you’re only 14.”
One of the girls’ mums contacted police the next day, and Berman was arrested at the flat.
Robinson was arrested by police when he was dressed in his City kit just 15 minutes before he was due to kick off at Macclesfield Town away in the EFL Cup.
Robinson, from Essex, was sacked from League Two club Bradford City for gross misconduct in February last year.
The footballer turned delivery driver scored three goals in 23 appearances for the Bantams between 2017 and 2020.
He was sacked by Bryanston, a firm which delivers for Amazon, after The Sun alerted bosses in December.
An inquiry has been launched into how background checks failed.
Robinson came through Arsenal’s academy and moved to West Bromwich Albion, before joining Bradford on a free transfer in August 2017.
The ex-ace, who can play left-back or left-wing, was earmarked for big things under manager Michael Collins.
He made 28 appearances for the club, including 13 league starts, with his final appearance in a 2-0 defeat in August 2018.
At the time of Robinson’s arrest, Bradford said in a statement: “Bradford City Football Club has parted company with Tyrell Robinson.
“This comes after West Yorkshire Police confirmed charges had been brought against Robinson, following his arrest in August 2018.
“Robinson has been dismissed from the remainder of his contract on grounds of committing gross misconduct.
The club will be making no further comment on the matter.
“All options will be open to the judge who deals with your case, and that will very much include the possibility of a prison sentence.”
Both men will serve half of their jail terms before they are released on licence and they must sign the sex offenders’ register.
