Governorship aspirants on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Osun State Governorship Election taking place in 2022 will pay a total of N22.5 million for both nomination and expression of interest forms, reports The Gazelle News.com.
In the guidelines for the election released on Sunday, 14 November, 2021, aspirants will pay N2.5 million for expression of interest and N20 million for nomination forms.
The guidelines signed by the Secretary of the party’s National Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Committee, Senator John Akpan Oduedehe, stated that the National Secretariat will give notice to the state chapter on Wednesday, 17 November, 2021 while sale of forms commences on Thursday, 18 November, 2021 at the party National Secretariat.
The last day for submission of completed forms and documents has been fixed for Friday, 18 February, 2022; screening of aspirants takes place on Tuesday, 22 February, 2022; and the primary election has been fixed for Saturday, 5 March, 2022.
