Former Auditor-General for Local Government in Lagos State, Muhammad Mubashiru Hassan has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; on his winning the Saturday, 25 February, 2023, Presidential Election.
Hassan described the result of the election and subsequent declaration of Tinubu as President-elect by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a confirmation of his acceptance by majority of Nigerians.
“It was a keenly contested election and the emergence of Tinubu is a clear confirmation that he’s the most preferred Candidate for the office. He worked hard for it and he surely deserved the victory,” he said.
Hassan assured Nigerians that Tinubu will not disappoint them noting that his record of service in Lagos State where he was Governor for eight years is a clear testimony that Tinubu will do well as President.
“He has done it before and his success as Governor of Lagos State is well documented and I’ve no doubt in my mind that he will not disappoint Nigerians,” he said.
