Celine Dion is set to smile to bank with a whopping $2 million [approximately N3 billion] for a one-off comeback performance at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.

The 56-year-old singer had taken a break from her career after being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) in 2022, a rare neurological disorder.

Celine Dion is now preparing to return to the stage in France, where she will perform a single song.

According to TMZ, a source revealed that Celine is “getting ready to take the stage Friday” and will earn the $2 million for her performance.

This news follows her recent appearance at the Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris.

Celine has expressed her long-standing dream of returning to Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower again.

Speaking to TMZ, the source confirmed that Celine is “feeling fine” despite her health challenges.

In a recent interview with Vogue France, Celine opened up about her SPS diagnosis and her determination to make a comeback.

“I have this illness for some unknown reason. The way I see it, I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it’s over, I stay at home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself,” she explained.

Celine continued, “I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!”
