A petrol tanker has reportedly killed a woman and her child on Friday, 28 March, 2025 in Delta State.
The tanker also wounded other persons, just it destroyed properties worth millions of naira.
The incident occurred on Friday, 28 March, 2025 along Ubeji/Egbokodo Road by Ayiri junction when the woman was returning with her child from school, where she went to pick them.
It was gathered that the tanker which was on a very high speed, failed brake and veered off the the road.
In the process, the tanker killed the woman and her child who were standing at a corner waiting to cross over the road.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the sad development in a telephone chat with an online medium, saying that “only two deaths; others are receiving treatment.”
