Mrs. Shimite Bello Love (née Nwakalo), Special Adviser to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Trade and Export, has died under suspicious circumstances.
Her sudden death on Easter Sunday, 20 April, 2025, has stirred a cloud of suspicion, controversy, and growing calls for justice, following the arrest of her husband, Pastor David Favour Love, in connection with the incident.

Popularly known as “Madam Sabificate,” Shimite reportedly died from suspected poisoning.
She was said to have been rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital in Asaba after allegedly foaming at the mouth. She was declared dead on arrival.

Her husband is alleged to have poisoned her, leading to his arrest by the police.
However, the Delta State Police Command has yet to release an official statement. Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, were unsuccessful as of press time.
Shimite was a prominent figure in Delta politics and business. She previously served as the Executive Secretary of the Delta State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency under former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
She was also the CEO of the Quintessential Group, a diversified conglomerate engaged in NGOs, agriculture, solid minerals, and social enterprises.
In 2023, she contested for the Oshimili North constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly under the PDP banner.
