The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released the full list of its vice chairmanship candidates for the forthcoming elections into the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas of Lagos State, reports thegazellenews.com
Among the names listed in the official released statement signed by the state Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; and Secretary, Dr Adeola Jokomba; are notable grassroots politicians who have contributed to the development and growth of the party.

One of them is Arulai Folami who has been picked as the Vice Chairmanship candidate for Lagos Island Local Government. Folami has been a popular grassroots politician who has served the party in various capacities.
Another is Omooba Akintola Falade who is another grassroots politician very popular in the Alimoso Federal Constituency. Falade has also served the party in various and has excelled in the various assignments given to him.
Francis Adebisi was listed as the Vice Chairmanship candidate for Alimoso Local Government. Adebisi has also been tested and trusted. He was a top official of the Lagos Neighbourhood Corps and has also served as Vice Chairman of Alimoso Local Government during the first term of the incumbent Chairman, Jelili Sulaiman.
A notable inclusion on the list is Ganiyu Obasa, who emerged as the vice chairmanship candidate for Agege Local Government. Ganiyu is the son of Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly. His nomination is already sparking discussions within political circles about growing family influence within the state’s political structure.
According to the APC, the list represents a broad spectrum of political actors, grassroots mobilizers, and technocrats chosen to complement the chairmanship flagbearers in all the local councils.
