A security analyst, Bakatsine has disclosed that no fewer than 100 people were abducted and several others killed on the evening of Tuesday, 27 May, 2025 when armed bandits attacked Dan Muntari village in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State, reports thegazellenews.com.
Bakatsine, who disclosed this on his x handle on Thursday, 29 May, 2025, added Among those killed was a woman who had given birth just two weeks earlier, along with her newborn baby.
“On Tuesday evening, bandits attacked Dan Muntari village in Danko Wasagu LGA, Kebbi State. They killed many people, including a woman who had given birth just two weeks earlier and her newborn baby. They also abducted at least 100 people,” Bakatsine wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, Kebbi State Police Command has yet to comment on the incident.
