I express my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Niger State Governor, His Excellency, Hon Mohammed Umar Bago, and the good people of Niger State on the flooding incidence which occurred Wednesday, 28 May, and Thursday, 29 May, 2025 in Mokwa, Tiffin Maza and Anguwan Hausawa communities.
This devastating flooding, which led to loss of lives and properties occasioned by torrential rainfall and the geographical terrain of the State is very saddening.
I pray that Almighty God gives the families, friends and loved ones of those affected the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
I pray that God grant the departed souls eternal peace and rest.
