In a chilling tale of betrayal that’s left many Nigerians speechless, two sisters: Juliet Chukwu, an officer with the Nigerian Civil and Security Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Ngozi Nancy Chukwu, an officer with the Immigration Service, have been arrested by the Anti-Cult Squad of the Enugu State Police Command for allegedly orchestrating the kidnapping of their elder brother, Mr. Friday Chukwu.
The shocking incident unfolded in May, when Mr. Chukwu was abducted along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway. A ransom of ₦30 million was paid for his release—unbeknownst to the family, the crime was allegedly planned by his own blood.
But the horror didn’t end there.
On Monday, 14 July, 2025, Engr. Igwe Denis Chibueze, Chief Liaison Officer of China Oriental Quarry Company, was also abducted in a similar operation. A ₦10 million ransom was demanded. Acting on intelligence, security agents stormed a hotel and caught the suspects red-handed — sharing the ransom money.
Further investigations have since blown the lid off a disturbing web of crime. The sisters are reportedly connected to several criminal operations in Ishiagu, Ebonyi State—including staged abductions, pipeline vandalism, railway looting, and even alleged collaboration with armed herdsmen to terrorize rural communities.
Trusted uniforms turned treacherous. This isn’t just a crime—it’s a betrayal that runs deeper than blood.
