The newly inaugurated Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has outlined his plans to transform the local government into a model of excellence.
During a party organized in his honor at the council secretariat, the Chairman, who was accompanied by his Vice, Hon. Francis Adebisi, and other party stalwarts, reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on his campaign promises through his “WISE Agenda” initiatives.
In his remarks, he said, “We appreciate the unwavering support we received during the campaign period. We promised to deliver key initiatives, and we will stick to these commitments. Our administration will prioritize youth empowerment by equipping them with skills and creating job opportunities that will contribute to the local government’s growth. We will also focus on women’s empowerment by providing support and resources to enhance their economic standing.”
Johnson emphasized sustainable growth, economic development, and inclusive governance, pledging to promote transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in governance by ensuring that the needs of Alimosho residents are met. A key aspect of his agenda is food security through agriculture, where his administration will invest in mechanized farming and provide subsidies to farmers.
“Our WISE Agenda is about tangible results and improving the quality of life for Alimosho residents,” Johnson assured. “We will prioritize the needs of our people, driving progress and development in our local government. With God’s guidance and the support of the good people of Alimosho, we are confident that we can transform our local government into a hub of excellence.”
