The Federal Government has provided a lump sum of N1.5 billion to support ginger farmers in the country, reports thegazellenews.com
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Chief Sunday Dare disclosed this while speaking on Channels Television programme, Sunrise Daily.

Chief Dare disclosed further that about 500,000 young farmers are benefiting from the fund which will go a long way in making them improve of on their production.
The Presidential Aide also spoke of how the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration has reduced costs of kidney dialysis from N50,000 to N12,000 which is about 75 percent reduction.

“The government has also put in place a free Ceasarean Section for pregnant women. That’s social safety nets. The concept of social safety net is trying to subsidize some of the basic things Nigerians deal with daily.
“We all agreed that these need to be scaled up absolutely and it’s obvious that the President is committed to doing that,” Chief Dare said.
