Remo Stars have confirmed the move of centre-back Nduka Junior to Erbil FC of Iraq.
The club, which announced that an agreement in principle has been reached with Erbil FC for Nduka’s transfer, expressed gratitude to the player who spent seven years with them.
The 23-year-old defender captained the Sky Blue Stars to their first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title last season.
“Seven years of making history together. The leadership quality you showed from the NNL to NPFL promotion, lifting the title, and now leaving as a club legend,” Remo Stars wrote on X.
Nduka signed a three-year contract with Erbil FC this week.
