“The aim of this seminar therefore is to train our directors on what is expected of them. This is onerous assignment for us and we can only achieve our aim by being dedicated and hardworking,” Yusuf, a three time member of the Lagos State House of Assembly said.
According to Yusuf, GMT is spreading very fast, “we are fully present in Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Kogi, Adamawa, Taraba and Kaduna states. We are fully prepared and we have commenced work already”.
The Chief of Staff to the state Governor, Tayo Ayinde, took participants through the process by which victory was achieved in the past.
“I was present and involved since the time of Asiwaju as Governor. Dedication and commitment are the major ingredients and we must be diligent. Humility is also important and our approach to people should be humble and humane,” he said.
The Director of Administration of GMT and two-time member of the state House of Assembly, Honourable Lanre Ogunyemi, took the directors through the work ethics and structure of the organisation.
Ogunyemi, also a two-time Secretary of the party in the state, lectured the participants on the aims and objectives of the organisation, the structure and chain of authority as well as the functions of each directorate.
