Gunmen on midnight of Monday, 2225 September, 2025 shot dead a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Otukpo, Benue state, Mr Ejeh Udeh at his residence.
According to reports, the attackers stormed his home around early Monday, 22 September, 2025.
Witnesses said the gunmen, who arrived on a motorcycle, lay in wait for him before opening fire as he entered the house.
According to the eyewitnesses, the incident happened in front of the politician’s family.
His body has been taken to the Otukpo general hospital morgue as at the time of this report.
The Benue state police command is yet to confirm the incident as at press time.
