The Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe State Constituency I, Hon Abiodun Tobun, has reiterated that the development and growth of his constituency and Constituents are his top priorities as a lawmaker, reports thegazellenews.com.
In essence, he said, he has concentrated on putting and facilitating people-oriented programmes and projects for the constituency while moving motions that will improve the welfare of the people on the floor of the House.

To this end, Tobun told thegazellenews.com in an exclusive interview that he has sponsored numerous bills, facilitated no fewer than 20 developmental projects within the last four years which are all aimed at transforming the lives of his constituents as well as develop his constituency.

He listed some of the major projects to include: road construction, establishment of a LAGFERRY terminal, provision of health facilities, food palliatives and provision of farming equipment.
Other achievements by the lawmaker are: youth empowerment programmes, cash support for the less privileged, as well as education and career development initiatives among others.
The lawmaker expressed confidence in his ability to deliver more dividends of democracy, if given the opportunity to serve another tenure.
“My tenure achievements are insurmountable; the records are there for verification. I have done numerous projects across my constituency, facilitated several others, and sponsored many bills on the floor of the House,” Tobun said.
While urging Nigerians to rally behind the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the current reforms were geared towards long-term national prosperity, the lawmaker said, “there is light at the end of the tunnel. Today’s economic reforms are the hope of a better society tomorrow”.
Tobun noted that the projects were carefully tailored to meet the needs of the people of community, stressing that inclusiveness and grassroots participation were central to his approach to governance.
He added that his interventions in education, philanthropist gestures, infrastructure and youth empowerment were deliberate, aimed at equipping young people with skills and opportunities to become self-reliant.
The lawmaker reiterated his commitment to serve with transparency, accountability, and fairness, promising to attract more government attention to critical areas of development in Epe Constituency I.
