We’re Poised to Ensure Lawful Trades at Border Lines – NAGAFF President

The National President of National association of government approved freight forwarders, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi has said that the body is set to facilitate global Trade through lawful means in Nigeria and beyond.

He made the statement in Birnin Kebbi, on Tuesday, 30 September, 2025, during the maiden launch of Kebbi branch of the association.

Represented by the association’s Northwest Vice Chairman,Alhaji Bello magaji, he said that the inauguration of Kebbi chapter is crucial to the success of the entire body because Kebbi borders two nations which are Niger republic and Benin republic who are constantly engage in different trades and whose businesses concerned freight forwarders.

He noted that the new Kebbi chapter of NAGAFF will hugely contribute to lawful trades along border lines. in Kebbi state with proper engagements with relevant  bodies .

Earlier, in his welcome address, the new state Chairman, Alhaji Na Hali Kamba congratulated the new excos saying a hard task lie ahead of them of building the association from the scratch ” I welcome you to the maiden inauguration of NAGAFF and all the dignitaries who graced our occasion,we thank you all’.

He noted that his policy thrust is  to build the capacity of his members through team work and adherence to rules governing the operations of freight forwarders in Nigeria.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), and Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC).

Also in attendance were the host, District Head of Gwadangaji, Alhaji Umar; Sarkin Shikon Kamba and other top traditional and business top notch.
