The Vice Chancellor of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Professor Fatimah Tahir, has on behalf of the Management, Staff, and the entire University Community heartily felicitates with Nigerians on the occasion of the 65th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria.

Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU, which was made available to Journalists Wednesday, 1 October, 2025, the Vice Chancellor recognized the importance of unity and togetherness among Nigerians, stressing that it remains the foundation for any meaningful development.
She commended the sacrifices and contributions of past leaders who stood firmly to safeguard the peace, unity, and progress of the nation, and urged citizens of Bauchi State and Nigerians at large to emulate their virtues of patriotism, selflessness, and service to humanity.
While extending her goodwill message to the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed Professor Tahir applauded his unrelenting efforts towards maintaining peace, unity, and harmony in the state.
Professor Tahir also acknowledged his notable contributions to the development of education, particularly his unwavering support through funding and infrastructural provision for Sa’adu Zungur University.
According to her, “these efforts have continued to enhance the institution’s drive towards academic excellence”.
The Vice Chancellor then reaffirmed SAZU’s commitment to promoting quality education, research, and innovation for the progress of Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.
