The Coalition of Professional Women in Politics (COPWIP) is set to officially unveil ‘Tinubu Cares’, a transformative humanitarian and development framework designed to rebuild lives, empower communities, and sustain peace across Nigeria, starting from the North Central region.

According to the Convener of the COPWIP, Engr. (Dr.) Atinuke Wuraola Owolabi, who is also the South West representative on the board of the North Central Development Commission,’ Tinubu Cares’ stands as a bold and compassionate initiative that embodies the Renewed Hope Agenda by promoting human development, security, and social inclusion through practical and innovative interventions.

Engineer Owolabi is set to host the unveiling of the ‘Tinubu Cares’ very soon in Abuja, the nation’s capital city.

According to her, the theme of the unveiling programme is Rebuilding Lives, Empowering Communities, Sustaining Peace.

What ‘Tinubu Cares’ Stands For

TINUBU CARES is a national humanitarian and development framework designed to restore dignity, empower families, and strengthen community resilience through compassion, innovation, and inclusive growth — beginning from the North Central region.

The Five Strategic Pillars of TINUBU CARES

MaaMi – Mother and Child Care Support

AgroBoost – Agricultural Empowerment and Rural Development

Youth Arise – Youth Empowerment and Innovation

WASH – Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene for Healthy Communities

Engineering Intelligence for Peace – Smart Security and Early Warning Systems

A Vision for Hope and Renewal

Speaking further about the initiative, Engr. (Dr.) Atinuke Owolabi emphasized that:

“TINUBU CARES is not just a programme, it is a national movement for hope, healing, and development.

“It will touch every family, empower every youth, and create a foundation for lasting peace and prosperity in our nation.”

She stated further that the initiative will roll out strategic interventions in the areas of maternal and child health, agriculture, youth innovation, public health, and community security, emphasizing collaboration between government agencies, development partners, and local communities.

Implementation will commence from the North Central region as a model of inclusive recovery and resilience, before expanding to other parts of Nigeria.

COPWIP’s Track Record of Impact

The Coalition of Professional Women in Politics (COPWIP) has consistently demonstrated commitment to community empowerment across Nigeria.

In the past, the group has initiated impactful programs such as voter registration awareness campaigns, taking the exercise to several rural communities, including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

COPWIP has also advanced education and social welfare by distributing school uniforms and notebooks to indigent pupils in primary and secondary schools. In addition, it has organized free medical outreach programs, providing essential healthcare services and free medications to underserved populations.
