In a bid to commence infrastructural implementation of L-PRES planned activities, the Bauchi State

Commissioner for Livestock Development, Dr Bala Musa Lukshi has urged bidders for the construction of Artificial Insemination Centre and Farmer field school at the College of Agriculture, Bauchi to accept the outcome of the evaluation with faith as there must be a winner and losers.
The Commissioner who stated this during the bid opening which was conducted recently at the L-PRES Conference Hall, emphasized the importance of being consistent with figure and words whenever you are responding to request for bids any where.

The Commissioner also expressed appreciation to all of them for their interest in bidding with the L-PRES Project.
Dr. Lukshi said that the Governor of Bauchi Stat, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has placed priority to the Livestock sector “thus he approved for the participation of the State in the Project”.
He said the Governor also has made all the mandatory eligibility criteria set by the World Bank, and also “unprecedentedly approved counterpart contribution for 3 conservative years of the sum of N20 million respectively”.
The Commissioner who expressed appreciation to all of them for their interest in bidding with the L-PRES Project,.thanked the L-PRES team for successfully conducting the bids opening session.
During the bids opening, the L-PRES Project Procurement officer, Malam Umar Nuhu stated that, a time keeper from within the bidders was appointed where bids submission was closed by 11:30 am prompt.
He called the names of companies that responded with the amount quoted including bid security from BIC Microfinance and Commercial Banks respectively.
Umar further stated that only one bider came after closing of bid submission, and thanked him for his interest in bidding with the L-PRES Project.
The Procurement officer was assisted during the exercise by the Procurement officer of AGile Project Malam Bala, and all staff of the L-PRES Project.
One of the bidders in his remarks, expressed appreciation for the transparency, integrity and promptness shown by the team.
