The much-anticipated Odun Omo Olowu 2025 officially commenced on Sunday, 19 October, 2025, with the commissioning of key community development projects across Owu townships, led by Alayeluwa Oba Saka Adelola Matemilola, Oluyalo Otileta VII, the Olowu of Owu, Abeokuta.
The first commissioning took place at Owu Oke Sokori Township, where Kabiyesi commissioned solar-powered borehole and Alakoso Owu Oke Sokori Center.
The second was held at Araromi Township, featuring the unveiling of the ICT Center and Agbogunleri Mosque.
In his remarks, Kabiyesi emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and self-driven development as key elements of lasting progress.
The Odun Omo Olowu 2025, a week-long brings together Owu sons and daughters from home and abroad to celebrate their heritage, achievements, and collective vision for a greater Owu Kingdom.
